Privacy Policy

(i) Your Privacy

MOE will respect your statutory privacy rights when collecting, holding, storing, using, transmitting, or otherwise processing personal data, and this privacy policy statement will explain our privacy practices. We are committed to complying with the provisions of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong. This notice does not limit your rights as a data subject under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

Please read the following carefully to understand our policies and practices on how we handle your personal data. This policy may be revised from time to time.

The term "Personal Data" in this Privacy Policy Statement shall have the meaning given to it in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

(ii) Categories of Personal Data Collected

The personal information you may be required to provide includes but is not limited to your name, gender, age, date of birth, telephone number, address, email address, credit card information, education level, occupation and interests, etc. If you refuse to provide the relevant information and/or provide incomplete or incorrect information, the Company may be unable to provide you with certain services.

If you are under the age of 18, you must obtain the consent of your parents or guardians before providing any personal information to the Company. We will not collect your personal information without their consent.

(iii) Purposes for which we will collect and use your personal data

We may collect your personal data when you shop, participate in related promotional activities or apply to become our member.

If you wish to receive certain services from us, certain personal data must be provided, and such data will be marked as "Required Data" in the membership application form. If certain personal data can only be provided voluntarily, such data will not be marked as "Required Data", and you can decide whether to provide such data to us.

If you wish us to provide any of the following services, you will need to provide us with your personal data:

(a) join and maintain your membership with us;

(b) accumulate points for our membership benefits;                                                                  

(c) to inform you of the benefits and privileges available to you as our member;                    

(d) enjoy the benefits of membership;

(e) to notify any amendments to the membership scheme;

(f) data cleansing and customer information updating; and

(g) Other ongoing customer support services directly related to members. We may use any personal data provided by you (whether mandatory and/or voluntary) to enable us to provide you with the following additional services and/or carry out the following activities:

(a) to enable us to better understand the demographics of our customers;

(b) conducting internal research and analysis so that we can properly provide rewards, services and product information or gifts that are tailored to your specific needs;

(c) market research;

(d) to allow our customer service team to provide follow-up services;

(e) Send member communications, member benefits and latest promotional information via email or WhatsApp.

(iv) Disclosure of Personal Data

If we collect personal data from you, we will:

(a) inform you (either through this Privacy Policy Statement or by separate notice) that we are collecting your personal information and the purposes for which we collect such personal information;

(b) where relevant, give you the opportunity to opt-out and refuse to have your personal data used for certain purposes (including but not limited to those described below); and

(c) inform you how we store your personal data and how you can review, correct and delete the personal data we store.


All personal data we collect and hold about you will be kept confidential, but we may disclose such data to the following parties (whether in or outside Hong Kong) for the purposes for which such data was collected as listed above:

(a) any company, subsidiary, holding company, associated company or  company or associated company under the same control of MOE ;

(b) any agents, contractors or third party service providers who provide us with administrative, telecommunications, computer and other services in connection with the processing and storage of your data (collectively, “Third Party Providers”);

(c)  any actual or proposed assignee, transferee or successor to the whole or any part of the assets, shares or services of MOE ;

(d) government and regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies and other organisations required or authorised by applicable laws in or outside Hong Kong;

The Third Party Provider is responsible for maintaining confidentiality and is bound by the terms of the contract to protect the privacy of your personal data and may only use your personal data for the purposes listed in paragraph (b) above and not for the Third Party Provider’s own purposes (including direct marketing).

(v) Direct Marketing

We may also use your personal data including name, phone number, address and email address for direct marketing purposes. Under legal requirements, we will not use your personal data for direct marketing unless we have obtained your consent (including an indication of no objection).

If you agree, your personal data may be used for the following purposes:

(a) to inform you about new product launches and other promotional offers;

(b) to inform you about our promotional activities, including product packages and latest news; (d) marketing reward programs, birthday offers, free trial products and promotional updates

If at any time you do not want us to use your personal data for direct marketing purposes as described above, you may exercise your right to opt-out by contacting us.

(vi) Security

The personal data you provide to the Company will be properly stored in the Company's customer service system and can only be accessed by authorized persons who have received our privacy policy training.

(vii) Cookies

Cookies ("data stored on the user's local terminal") refers to a function that stores your browsing records of this website in the form of compressed and encrypted text files on your computer or mobile device. The Cookies used by this website do not have the function of identifying individual users, and the information collected by Cookies does not include your email address, name or other personal information. MOE  may use Cookies on this website in the following circumstances:

(a) When a user browses this website and needs to switch to a different page of this website, the required information will be temporarily stored so that the user can browse this website more conveniently.

(b) When MOE or its authorized companies conduct user surveys on this website or need to analyze the browsing situation of this website in order to provide better services on this website in the future.

(viii) Data Transfer

We will usually store your personal data on our servers in Hong Kong. We promise to take all reasonably necessary steps and make all due efforts to ensure that all personal data collected, held, stored, used or otherwise processed in our offices outside Hong Kong will be treated securely and in compliance with this Privacy Policy Statement and the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance.

(ix) Rights of access, correction and deletion of data

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right to check whether we hold personal data about you and to request access to, correction of and deletion of any personal data held in our records. If at any time you wish to exercise any of these rights, please email us at   

(x) Data Retention

We will only keep your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it is being or is to be used (including any directly related purpose). When you engage in business dealings with us, we will keep records of all your transactions for audit purposes. Our internal policy is to keep such data for a reasonable period of time and to delete personal data that is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. As stated in paragraph (ix) above, you also have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by us.
